W Network is proud to partner with Mom Halo and their ‘Project Halo’ mission in support of SickKids.

Alana Kayfetz, is the CEO of Mom Halo, one of Canada’s largest networks for moms. Her youngest child, Henry, is medically complex and they’ve spent many months living at SickKids. As a result of Alana’s experience walking through Canada’s leading children’s hospital, she often felt like she did not have a space to take care of her own needs whilst trying to be the best source of strength for her sick child.

Project HALO was created to help parents and caregivers who, in the hardest moments, need time and a space within the walls of SickKids to both fully recharge and completely fall apart. We are building an army of moms, dads and caregivers, with one shared goal – to raise $1 Million to help build a new SickKids – designed to better serve patients and families. This will include spaces devoted to parents and caregivers where we can feel calm, relief and rest, when we are in a time of crisis.
