Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin New Series Premieres Thursday Dec 8 at 9pm & 9:30pm e/p only on W Network in Canada

Based on the Pitch Perfect film franchise and from Executive Producer Elizabeth Banks, the series features Adam Devine reprising his role as Bumper Allen from the first two movies. Set several years after his last appearance in Pitch Perfect, the series follows Bumper Allen as he moves to Germany to revive his music career after one of his songs becomes a big hit in Berlin. The series also stars Flula Borg, Sarah Hyland, Lera Abova, and Jameela Jamil.

Join Bumper as he dreams big and discovers his voice in this underdog to-unexpected-hero, musical mashup from the world of Pitch Perfect. Bumper Allen (Adam Devine), now in his 30s, finds his life stalled, working as night security at Barden University. After posting an a cappella mashup on TikTok, he finds himself going viral in Berlin, catching the eye of an old rival, Pieter (Flula Borg). Last seen in Pitch Perfect 2 as a part of Das Sound Machine (DSM), Pieter, now an artist manager fallen from grace after an a cappella scandal, is looking for redemption.

Bumper might be Pieter’s last chance and he offers to help Bumper snag the Newcomer Spot in Berlin’s Unity Fest. Along the way we meet Heidi (Sarah Hyland), Pieter’s assistant and Bumper’s love interest, and Thea (Lera Abova), the too-cool-for you DJ that helps produce Bumper’s new sound.
