Drywalling Over Brick
Exposed brick can be a very good look but it does not work everywhere. For a cleaner, more updated look without much hassle, dry wall can certainly save the day.
First, measure the wall and cut your drywall according to your specifications.
Next, clean the brick area you plan to cover to remove any unwanted dust or dirt. Put on your gloves and apply PL glue to the wall in a thick and even amount paying special attention to the corners.
Apply drywall to PL and press firmly to remove excess air and ensure a strong bond.
Finally, seal the wall by caulking the edges, and allow this to dry before pulling out the paintbrushes.
The brick has magically disappeared.
