Go to you local lumber yard and select a few raw logs, perhaps you have some unused firewood lying around. Make sure the wood is dry and clean.

Cut logs to desired height and sand at both ends.

Select the size and style of candle that you would like to use.

Next, select the appropriate drill bit for the candle size and drill down in to the center of the log. Sand the hole.

Place candles, light and enjoy!

You now have a lovely decorative piece for your home.

Important: Do not leave lit candles unattended. Please be aware that the unfinished wood will naturally deteriorate over time.
