Transform an old-fashioned chandelier into something cool and contemporary.

First, preorder a lampshade that will fit around the entire chandelier. Pull off the top pieces of the chandelier, ending with the crown.

Now, take your lampshade and insert it onto what remains of the chandelier. Re-attach all the pieces in reverse order.

Voila, you have now completed a simple, but effective way to update your chandelier.
