Cabinets - Update Glass Doors

Add fabric to glass cabinet doors for a touch of style!

First, pick a fabric that will compliment the colour scheme in your kitchen. Cut the fabric to fit the opening in the cabinet, with some extra fabric on all four sides.

Along the left and right side of the fabric make 1/4 inch seams and sew them into place. Along the top and bottom sew a 1 inch seam.

Buy rods and brackets at your local hardware store and cut them to size. Make sure the rods are slightly shorter in length than the width of the fabric. Push the rod through the fabric and gather it slightly to give a nicer finish.

Apply the brackets to the back of the cabinet door. Place the bracket close to the frame so that it won't affect the gabling. Put the rod on the bracket.

You now have a delightful and finished look to your cabinetry.
