Kitchen Cabinets - Fix Unclosable Doors

Here's an inexpensive and simple way to fix cabinet doors that just won't stay closed.

First, buy several magnets and plates at your local hardware store. Determine which shelves are fixed and permanently in place in your kitchen cupboards. It will usually be the top, middle and bottom shelf.

Next, measure the length of the shelf and mark the centre point. Place the magnet at this centre point and drill it into place with the screws that have been provided.

Finally, mark a spot on the cabinet door that will correspond with the magnetic plate. Attach the plate at this point.

Your cabinet doors will snap neatly and effectively into place!
