Coat Rack - Modern

Here's a modern take on a coat rack that will make good use of space, but also add a funky touch to your home.

First, get a piece of standard pinewood and design the shape you desire. Take the wood to the hardware store and they will actually cut and router it to the correct shape. This will give it a finished look.

Next, paint the wood in the colour of your choice, first using primer and then adding two coats of paint.

Buy a modern coat rack. Attach the rack to the wood with a screwdriver, using 1" screws.

You now have a simple, but eye-catching new coat rack.
