Headboard - from an Old Door

Create a headboard for your bed from an old door.

First, remove the hardware. Fill in the hole with wood filler. Smooth it out and let it dry.

Give the entire door a nice light sanding, which will allow the paint to adhere to it better. Remove the dust with a cloth.

Paint the door in the colour of your choice; and mount the headboard onto the wall.

You have now added some inexpensive architectural detail to your bed.
