Candles - Prolong their Lives

Prolong the life of a large candle by placing a smaller candle within that larger candle.

Ask someone to hold the candle in place or attach a strap clamp to it. Make sure to put on your safety goggles before you proceed.

Then, using a forstner drill bit, drill into the candle about 2-3 inches. Remove the clamp and clean out the shavings from the candle then pop in an inexpensive tea light.

For an added touch, use an attractive cake plate to display three or four pillar candles.

You have now created an array of attractive candles that look like they last forever.
