EPISODE 59 - Singing the Unsold House Blues

Refrigerator Blackboard

Create a blackboard that attaches to your fridge to keep information neat and handy.

Before you begin, have a piece of MDF (medium density fibre board) or particle board precut to the size that you desire.

Next, buy a piece of magnetic strip at your local hardware store and cut it to the same size as the piece of MDF. Use spray adhesive or carpenter's glue to adhere the magnetic strip to the MDF. Paint the opposite side of the MDF with blackboard paint.

Precut pieces of your favourite trim and use them to frame the painted side of your MDF; this will give your blackboard a finished look. Using nails, add a length of metal trim to the bottom of the front of the blackboard to hold your chalk.

Now you are ready to write away!
