EPISODE 43 - This party house needs a chaperone

Wainscoting - Filling it in

  1. Measure the already existing wainscoting and picture molding along the bottom of the wall. Duplicate this measurement along the empty portion of the wall and continue framing. Use a pencil and a leveler.
  2. Purchase one to two-inch quarter round style pieces of wood that have been cut to size to match your framing. Use a miter saw to cut angles on the pieces of wood. Remember to wear safety goggles.
  3. Line up the wood pieces and, using a nail gun, attach them to the wall. After framing is complete, paint the wall in the colour of your choice.
