Artwork - Proper Picture-Hanging Heights
Most people hang their art much too high.
1. The general rule to follow is that the centre of the print you are hanging should be placed between 60 - 66 inches off the floor. This is called "gallery height".
2. Next, measure the horizontal centre point on the wall. Mark this with a pencil.
3. To add another piece of artwork below this one, leave 2 - 4 inches between the edges of the prints. Hang the prints and then use a leveler to make sure both prints are straight.
You now have an attractive display of artwork correctly featured in your home.
