EPISODE 21 - Size Really Does Matter

Chair Rails

A chair rail is a simple way to add a touch of elegance to your dining room.

Directions:

1. Use a mitre saw to cut the chair rail pieces to length.

2. Using a nail gun, nail the chair rail to the wall, about 32 inches from the floor. For a warm finishing touch, choose a colour to paint the bottom half of the wall. A darker version of this chosen colour can be added to the top half of the wall. These complementary colours, along with your new chair rail, will freshen up your dining room and get you ready for an open house!
