Mirrors - New Wooden Frame
Making a wooden frame will spice up any old mirror.
Directions:
1. Build a wooden frame that fits around the mirror. Mitre cut the wood pieces (cut them all to match at 45-degree angles) and glue them together. Then add angle brackets to the frame to secure it.
2. Paint the interior of the frame because once the mirror is inserted, this part of the wood may show.
3. When inserting the mirror, use double-sided tape to hold it to the frame.
4. Insert glazing points every 4 inches, behind the mirror, directly into the wooden frame. This will ensure that the mirror will not fall out of the frame.
5. Flip the frame and paint it the colour of your desire. Add hooks to the back of the mirror so you can hang it up on your wall.
