Personal photographs are great, but not when you're selling your house. You don't want your memories to "intrude" on potential buyers. Edit your collection. Reduce the number of photos to just a few, remove large personal photos altogether while keeping neutral and happy pictures.
Lace dates a house, regardless of a house's age. Make your home feel more up to date by putting doilies and lace away.
Add a contemporary element to your outside flower arrangements by using straight, tall branches or bamboo sticks. This appeals to a hipper, more modern clientele.
