Use narrow mouldings to add interest to walls.
Draw on the wall where you want to apply the rectangles.
Measure them carefully.
Cut them on a 45 degree angle with a mitre saw or mitre box.
Use adhesive and finishing nails to affix them to the wall.
Paint out the same colour as the wall for a classic modern look.
