Sue Johanson
Drawing on over 25 years of experience as a sex educator, Sue addresses all aspects of sexuality in an informative and non-judgmental way. In 1970, Sue established the Don Mills Birth Control Clinic and remained there as Clinic Co-Ordinator until 1986. She started teaching Sex and Sexuality in schools in 1974 and currently makes presentations to thousands of University and College students every year.

In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Sue has also completed numerous post- graduate courses including Family Planning at the University of Toronto, a Human Sexuality course at the University of Michigan and Counseling and Communication at the Toronto Institute of Human Relations.

To-date she has been the subject of one book: "Nocturnal Admissions: Behind the Scenes of the Sunday Night Sex Show," published by ECW Press in 2002. She has authored three books:

"Sex, Sex, and More Sex," published by Penguin Books in 1995

Ms. Johanson writes a weekly column entitled "Health" for the Toronto Star Newspaper.

In 1997 Ms. Johanson was honoured by being inducted into the Janssen-Ortho "Hall of Fame." Her portrait is on display with other pioneers who have contributed to educating and informing the public about birth control and other areas of human sexuality. In 2001 she was appointed to the Order of Canada and won a Galaxy Award for "Best On-Camera Performance."

In March 1984, Sue began hosting the ever-popular radio program The Sunday Night Sex Show, originally on Q107, then on AM640. In February 1996, the Sunday Night Sex Show began airing nationally on WTN. With the relaunch of the service of WTN to W Network, The Sunday Night Sex Show began a seven day a week run, with the live show airing on Sunday nights and classic episodes airing the rest of the week. W Network began airing the eighth season November 2002.
