Sela Ward (Lily Manning)

Sela WardEmmy Award-winning actress Sela Ward brings a unique combination of timeless beauty with talent, grace and humanity to every role.

On television, Ward starred in Showtime's "Rescuers: Stories of Courage -- Two Women," a series of telefilms executive produced by Barbra Streisand.

Ward won an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 1994 for her role as Teddy, the struggling artist and recovering alcoholic, on NBC's award-winning series, "Sisters"; and was nominated for Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series by the Screen Actors Guild in 1996.

Ward also received unanimous acclaim for her performance in the Lifetime original film, "Almost Golden: The Jessica Savitch Story," portraying the late NBC News anchorwoman. Her performance earned her a CableACE Award as well as Emmy and Screen Actors Guild nominations in 1996.

On the big screen, Ward appeared in the Warner Bros. blockbuster, "The Fugitive," opposite Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. Other film credits include "My Fellow Americans" with Jack Lemmon, James Garner, Dan Aykroyd and Lauren Bacall; "Hello Again" with Shelley Long and Gabriel Byrne; Garry Marshall's "Nothing In Common" opposite Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason; "Rustler's Rhapsody" with Tom Berenger; and Blake Edwards' "The Man Who Loved Women" opposite Burt Reynolds.

Ward's additional television credits include the telefilms, "The Reef," "Double Jeopardy," "Killer Rules," "The Haunting of Sarah Hardy" and "Bridesmaids"; the miniseries, "King of Love"; and a regular role on the CBS series, "Emerald Point, N.A.S." She has also made appearances on "L.A. Law," "Night Court" and "Saturday Night Live," as well as a recent guest spot on "Frasier."

Ward segued into acting after a highly successful career as a model.

Bill Campbell (Rick Sammler)

Bill Campbell Bill Campbell grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, and attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago where he studied illustration. He was trained at the Ted Liss Studio for the Performing Arts, the Players Workshop of Second City in Chicago and Howard Fine in Los Angeles.

Campbell is perhaps best known for his starring role in Touchstone's "The Rocketeer." Among his many other film credits are "The Second Jungle Book," "Gettysburg," "The Brylcreem Boys," "Lover's Knot," "The Night We Never Met" and "Bram Stoker's Dracula."

Campbell made his television debut as a guest star in the network series, "Family Ties" and "Hotel," before becoming series regular Luke Fuller in the long-running primetime drama, "Dynasty." His other television credits include series regular roles in NBC's "Crime Story" and ABC's "Moon Over Miami." Most recently, Campbell co-starred in Armistead Maupin's acclaimed miniseries, "More Tales of the City"; ABC's "Max Q" and the CBS movie, "Monday After the Miracle."

Among his stage credits, Campbell most recently starred in "Fortinbras," for which he received a 1996 Ovation Award; as well as Mark D. Kaufman's "Backbone of America," "Hamlet" and "Guys and Dolls."

An avid rugby player, Campbell resides in Los Angeles.

Meredith Deane (Zoe Manning)

Meredith Deane Meredith's other television roles include the daytime drama, "Loving," and guest appearances on the late-night series, "Saturday Night Live" and "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." In addition, she has appeared in a number of national commercials for television.

Her feature credits include roles in the film, "28 Days," directed by Betty Thomas; the short films, "Dance For Me, Velma" and "Edgar and The Magic Crayon" for Hallmark Entertainment; and the upcoming independent film, "Casanova Falling."

She has starred in three productions for the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center, including the role of Marie in "The Nutcracker," "Peter Martins' Swan Lake" and "Little Red Riding Hood's Sleeping Beauty."

In addition to acting, Meredith enjoys singing, ballet, playing piano, ice skating and skiing.

Todd Field (David)

A longtime mainstay of independent films, writer-actor-director-composer-producer Todd Field will appear in two mainstream feature films this summer.

He worked with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut."

Field is perhaps best known for his roles in two memorable independent films including Nicole Holofcener's "Walking and Talking," co-starring Anne Heche and Catherine Keener and Victor Nunez' "Ruby In Paradise," co-starring Ashley Judd. Field's performance as greenhouse worker Mike McCaslin earned him a "Best Supporting Actor" nomination by the Independent Spirit Awards.

Field is perhaps better recognized for his performance as part of the team of storm trackers in the special effects blockbuster, "Twister," with Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. His other feature credits include "Sleep With Me," "Queen' s Logic," "Fat Man & Little Boy," "Gross Anatomy" and "Radio Days."

He has also made a name for himself as a writer-director of the 1992 short film "Too Romantic" as well as "Nonnie & Alex," which received the Special Jury Award at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival and first Prize at the 1995 Shortsfest in Aspen. His other directorial credits include "Delivering," "The Dog" and "When I was a Boy."

As a composer, Field has contributed the scores to "Broken Vessels" and "Ruby In Paradise" as well as Tom Eberhardt's "Gross Anatomy" and Carl Franklin's "Nowhere To Run."

Her television credits include such primetime series as "Law and Order," "Spin City" and the long-running daytime drama "Another World."

She has performed on Broadway in "Electra," "A Thousand Clowns" and "The Tempest." Off-Broadway, she has played roles in "A Dybbuk," "Henry VIII," "Sabina" and "The Changeling." Her regional credits include "Romeo and Juliet," "Escape From Happiness," "Ghosts" and "As You Like It."

She earned her undergraduate degree at Brown University and did her graduate studies in acting at New York University.

Jeffrey Nordling

Audiences have seen all sides of Jeffrey Nordling's acting versatility in a wide range of dramatic and comedic roles in film, television and stage.

In Los Angeles, Nordling was a founding member of The Wilton Project with whom he performed "Queen Magnolia," and is also a member of The Antaeus Company, a classical repertory company.

He has played roles in a number of feature films including "Mighty Ducks III," "Working Girl" and "Ruby," among many others.

On television, he has appeared in series including, "Almost Perfect" and "Veronica's Closet," among others. He has also played roles in several movies for television including "Harrison: Cry of the City," "Apollo 11," "Ask Me Again" for PBS' American Playhouse, "Saint Maybe," "Blue Moon" and films for HBO including the Emmy Award-winning projects "And The Band Played On" and "Citizen Cohn."

His off-Broadway experience includes "MacBeth," "Richard III" and "Don Juan of Seville."

Susanna Thompson

Susanna has earned various credits in film, television and the stage. In film, Susanna has held roles in "Random Hearts," with Harrison Ford, "Ghosts of Mississippi," with Alec Baldwin, "Little Giants" and "When a Man Loves a Woman," with Andy Garcia and Meg Ryan.

Her television credits include such primetime series as "NYPD Blue," "Chicago Hope," "X-Files" and "Michael Hayes." She co-starred as the "Borg Queen" in the television movie, "Star Trek: Voyager." Susanna has also appeared in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and has been featured in several television movies including, "The Reunion-America's Dream," "The Homestead" and "A Promise Kept: The Oksana Baiul Story."

She received a Drama Logue Award for her role as Luisa in "A Shayna Maidel." She was also nominated for Best Actress by the San Diego Critics Circle for her role as "Agnes" in "Agnes of God." Her other work in theater includes "Three Sisters," "Hayfever," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Real Thing."

Susanna earned her undergraduate degree at San Diego State University in drama. She is also skilled in Akido and Stage Combat.

Shane West (Eli)
Shane West

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Shane West began to realize his passion for acting at age 15. Shortly thereafter, he began playing roles in a number of hit television series, including "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," "Sliders" and "Picket Fences."

His acting career truly took off when he made his stage debut in the starring role as Angel in the Mark Taper Forum's production of "The Cider House Rules."

Shane co-starred in the Barry Levinson-directed film, "Liberty Heights" and also starred in "A Walk to Remember" with Mandy Moore.

When Shane isn't acting, he plays lead guitar and writes most of the music and lyrics for his own band, Average Jo.

Julia Whelan (Grace)
Julia Whelan

Julia Whelan comes from the great Northwest, where she traveled to Ashland on a yearly basis to watch Shakespearean plays since she was six years of age.

Julia began a more serious pursuit of acting at age 10 when she began studying with Geof Prysirr, a relationship that has continued for the past five years.

Whelan has made guest appearances on "Nowhere Man," "Promised Land" and the Christmas episode of "ER." She has also appeared in two television movies: "Christmas Everyday" and "15 and Pregnant," opposite Kirsten Dunst.

After completing high school, she intends to pursue an education in both psychology and acting because she finds them equally relevant in understanding human behavior and the characters she hopes to play.

Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood appeared in the feature film "Practical Magic," opposite Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock. Her other film credits include Timothy Hutton's directorial debut, "Digging to China," starring opposite Kevin Bacon; and "Detour," with Michael Madsen.

Evan has played roles in numerous television series, including "Profiler," "Touched By an Angel" and "American Gothic." She has also appeared in several television movies, including "Down Will Come Baby," "Get to the Heart: The Barbara Mandrell Story," "Death in Small Doses," "A Father for Charlie," "In the Best of Families" and "Search for Grace."

Her stage credits include "The Miracle Worker," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Briarpatch," as well as a three-year tour with "A Christmas Carol."

In addition to studying acting, Evan is also trained in singing and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. While not acting, she spends her time swimming, rollerblading and horseback riding.
