Patricia Arquette plays Allison DuBois, a devoted wife, mother, and a gifted psychic medium who speaks to the dead. Arquette received an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series after the first season aired.


Arquette was born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles. It's no surprise Patricia became an actress. She belongs to a family of actors, starting with her grandfather, comedian Cliff Arquette (TV personality “Charlie Weaver”), her father, actor Lewis Arquette and her siblings, Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond and David Arquette, are all actors.

Arquette built an impressive filmography, working with renowned directors on critically acclaimed feature films. Her credits include roles in Martin Scorsese’s Bringing Out the Dead (opposite Nicolas Cage), Richard Linklater’s 12 Year Movie a.k.a. Boyhood, Rupert Wainwright’sStigmata (co-starring Gabriel Byrne), The Badge (with Billy Bob Thornton) and David O. Russell’s Flirting With Disaster, among others.

Arquette lives and works in Los Angeles, California.

ALLISON DUBOIS (Consultant and Psychic Medium)

Allison DuBois started using her dreams and visions during her final semester at the University of Arizona as an intern at the District Attorney's office. Researchers at the university tested her abilities and were astonished when she scored exceptionally high on tests for accuracy and precise details. After her aptitude for receiving psychic visions and dreams was documented and supported, Allison decided not to become a prosecuting attorney as she had planned. Since, she has devoted herself to a career as a professional medium.

Allison volunteers on missing persons and criminal cases for law enforcement agencies and families of victims. Allison still assists the Office of the District Attorney, especially in jury selection.

Allison maintains close ties with the producers of Medium and continues to inspire storylines for the show.
