EPISODE 22 - Debt Distress (Stephanie & William)
The game's not over 'til the fat lady sings. But in William and Stephanie's case there was a large woman warming up to sing over their shared finances. My plan would force them to work together to solve their debt problems.
Alison's recommendations:
- Close separate accounts, set up joint bank accounts and track spending
- Apply for a joint low interest consolidation loan
- Give up mom's credit card
- Lower transportation costs - change shift or get a job closer to home
