Carson Kressley

Kressley began his career as an independent stylist, which lead to a long tenure with Polo Ralph Lauren in the men's sportswear design team and the corporate advertising group. He has also worked on catalogues for retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's.

As one of the fabulous hosts of the original Queer Eye For The Straight Guy series, Kressley was the perfect stylist and host for the US version of the UK hit show, How to Look Good Naked with host Gok Wan. The US series became a second TV hit, and now Kressley is out to makeover the world.

In addition to his fashion and TV work, Kressley is a best-selling author of theQueer Eye For The Straight Guy companion book, a style guide for men called Off the Cuff and the children's book You're Different and That's Super illustrated by Jared Lee, a book that encourages acceptance of people of all genders and sexual orientations. Kressley lends his celebrity to help many gay rights and gay education causes.

Kressley currently resides in New York and is working on his women's clothing and accessory line, Perfect by Carson Kressley.
