In episode three, fashion stylist Gok Wan is on another tricky mission to bring some loving to a body-loather and his challenge is to make Roberta Fox-Braddock look good naked. Roberta lives in South Wales and works in a steel works. With her tough job and masculine clothes she’s perfected a cover-up job that not only masks her personality, but also covers up her body. She can’t even get undressed in front of her husband of 20 years and the only time she leaves the house is to go to work. Her body image has reached rock bottom and that’s her main problem she thinks her backside is huge.

25-year-old Rubie Poonia hates her size 18 body and thinks it’s too big to be beautiful. In the fourth of the series fashion stylist Gok Wan is on a mission to show her that she really can look good with her clothes on - and off. Rubie is a PR girl who lives and works amongst the blonde and the beautiful of Bournemouth. By day she hides in baggy clothes while skinny blondes hang out on the beach. By night she works in bars and clubs and while everyone else wears short skirts and tiny tops, Rubie covers up. Rubie wants to look good – and feel good – with her clothes on, and off. She won’t even get changed for a night out in front of her friends.

27-year-old London girl Zoe Cobden is a fine figure of a woman, but like most females she just can’t see it. She hates her size 12 body so much she tries to make herself invisible by wearing clothes as camouflage. 36-year-old girl’s school teacher, Emma Wright, should be in her prime. But when it comes to body loathing, this 5’11” lass comes top of the class. Most of all, Emma hates her typically British shape – with small boobs and bigger hips she’s a classic pear and she hates what she sees in the mirror. Her hatred has got so out of hand that she spends most of her time indoors rather than out on the town with her other single mates. The result? She hasn’t let a man see her naked in nine years. Emma urgently needs help.
