PAUL HOGAN

Paul is a 52-year-old Australian and divorced father of two teenage children. He has resided in the United States for the past 10 years and is soon to apply for American citizenship. His adopted hometown is in the Adirondack region of northern New York State but is currently residing in Los Angeles and is seriously contemplating relocating there. Paul gained notoriety for his role as "the Butler" in the reality television hit, "Joe Millionaire."

A butler/estate manager by profession, Paul was recruited through the International Guild of Butlers, Naples, Florida, by the production company Rocket Science Laboratories, Los Angeles, to run the chateau in France where "Joe Millionaire" was staged and filmed. He was employed in a truly "hands on" position and responsible for the domestic and household sides of the chateau. He was to have had only minor and incidental "on screen" appearances. As production commenced, the producers began to note Paul's remarkably relaxed manner in front of the cameras, his dry wit and sense of self and very quickly realized they had found a "natural." So the humble butler soon found himself not only the host, but also the presenter of the program. As the press releases will attest, Fox acknowledges, "Paul was the glue that held the show together" and in no small way was responsible for its success. In the past seven weeks he has developed quite the following among the American, Canadian and Australian TV view audiences. Paul is the other face of "Joe Millionaire."

Post- "Joe Millionaire," Paul has appeared on "Regis and Kelly", "The Other Side", "The Caroline Rhea Show", "$25,000 Pyramid", "The Wayne Brady Show" and "Mad TV".

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Paul joined the Australian Diplomatic Service after finishing school. Soon after, he was drafted into the Australian Army for a couple of years. He returned to the Diplomatic Service and was soon posted to Ottawa Canada and over the next 20 plus years served in Yugoslavia, The Caribbean, Los Angeles (Australian Consul) and Argentina. Paul specialization was the management of Embassies and as Consul, caring for his fellow countrymen who were in need of assistance.

After his retirement, he opened a bed and breakfast inn with his then-wife, but domestic bliss did not ensue. Shortly thereafter, he happened across the job description for "butler" and realized that he possessed all the necessary skills and years of experience. His years in the Diplomatic Service proved to be a very valuable asset, indeed! Upon reinventing himself as a "Butler," he soon found employment that was conditional upon him learning to cook. So the next six months as spent as a student at the New England Culinary Institute in Essex, Vermont. This was followed by a three months study tour of the wine fields of France, Australia and California. As a butler, Paul has worked in Aspen, Houston, London, New York City and The Bahamas.

Now he's the host of "Groomed" - who takes the proverbial frog and turns him into Prince Charming - all for the love of their lives for a big day.
