Welcome to Stars Hollow, Connecticut, a charming, small and slightly off-center town known for green lawns, clapboard houses--and enough quirky characters to fill every hayride, parade and picnic for miles. It's here that we meet headstrong 32-year-old Lorelai Gilmore, who carves out a comfortable, warm, caffeine-filled life for herself and her equally willful teenage daughter, Rory. But when Rory's attention turns from dreams of private school and Harvard to thoughts of boys and adolescent self-reliance, single mom Lorelai begins noticing more of her own rebellious youth -- only 16 years ago -- in Rory.

Temporarily unable to see after minor eye surgery, Emily enlists Lorelai's help as her driver and companion, finally revealing a surprise that catches Lorelai completely off guard. Meanwhile, Rory takes charge of Logan's recovery when he is released from the hospital. And Luke helps his sister Liz (recurring guest star KATHLEEN WILHOITE) and her husband, T.J. (recurring guest star MICHAEL DeLUISE), deal with Liz's pregnancy.

S6, Episode #132 "PARTINGS"

On the evening of Logan's graduation from Yale, Rory throws him a wild party, but the knowledge that he is being forced to leave for London the next day makes their time together bittersweet. Meanwhile, at a Friday night dinner, Emily and Richard attempt to introduce Christopher (recurring guest star DAVID SUTCLIFFE) to an attractive young woman. And realizing that she was wrong to let Luke postpone their wedding for so long, Lorelai delivers an ultimatum. Also, Stars Hollow is suddenly overrun with musicians when news gets out that the town's regular street performer, the Town Troubadour (recurring guest star GRANT LEE PHILLIPS), has been "discovered." SONIC YOUTH, SAM PHILLIPS, MARY LYNN RAJSKUB, YO LA TENGO, SPARKS, JOE PERNICE and DAVE GRUBER ALLEN perform.

S7, Episode #133 THE LONG MORROW

Lorelai wakes up in bed with Christopher. Confused and mortified, she makes a hasty exit, ignoring Christopher's pleas that she stay. Once at home, Lorelai tries to get rid of everything that reminds her of Luke and ends up practically emptying her house. Rory receives a toy rocket ship as a parting gift from Logan and is baffled as to its meaning.

S7, Episode #134 THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, FOLKS, FOR MAKIN' WHOOPIE

Rory is upset over Logan's absence and the fact that they had to cancel their long-planned trip to Asia. Wanting to cheer Rory up and distract herself from her own sad love life, Lorelai turns her house into an Asian-themed wonderland. Lane returns from her disastrous honeymoon.

S7, Episode #135 LORELAI'S FIRST COTILLION

When Richard and Emily display no real reaction to the news of her breakup with Luke, Lorelai realizes that most of her emotional life has been based on doing and feeling the opposite of whatever her parents want. Later, when Michel forces Lorelai to attend Emily's beautiful cotillion dance, Lorelai discovers that some things her parents wanted for her weren't really that terrible. Meanwhile, Rory has a tough time making her long-distance relationship with Logan work.
