Deciding to take control of her own life, Felicity follows the boy she secretly had a crush on throughout high school to New York, rather than do what her parents have planned for her.
At her high school graduation, Felicity begins thinking about the future her parents have so precisely mapped out for her. Following the commencement exercises, Felicity asks Ben Covington, who she secretly has had a crush on for four years, to sign her yearbook. After reading his message to her, she impulsively decides to forgo her parent’s plan and follow Ben to New York and consider her dream of becoming an artist.
