EPISODE 39 - Katie & Carey's Dining Room

Katie and Carey, and their daughter Frances, have lived in this house for just over a year. For that whole time they've struggled to find the perfect colour for their dining room - one that's warm and comforting for intimate family dinners, as well as fun and bright for when they entertain.

A year later, they are no further ahead - apart from a wall covered with test patches. In the past any successful colour decisions have been made by a consultant. It's important enough to the family image to hire someone and get it right rather than make bad decisions on her own. The problem is the decisions aren't personal, they reflect current trends instead of personal tastes. As a result, the house does not make the outstanding statement that Katie wants.
