Teresa has done things by the book her whole life: she married her high school boyfriend who became a nice, conservative accountant, she had two kids before she was 25 and she had the house in the 'burbs. So what's missing? Nothing, if that's who you are. But in reality Teresa is a funky, modern woman who's never had the chance to express herself. She's now with a new husband in a new home. He's totally supportive of whatever she wants. However, he isn't much help in knowing what the décor trends are right now. Doing it on her own Teresa finds it difficult to break out of her conservative past.
