Jane Lockhart co-hosted HGTV Canada's successful interior design series "One House Two Looks" since the show launched six seasons ago. With 14 years experience as an interior designer, Jane is an award-winning graduate of the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University in Toronto. Her portfolio contains many successful retail, theatrical, restaurant and residential projects, and she has earned a reputation in the design profession as a highly skilled faux painter.
For the past 10 years, Jane has traveled across both Canada and the United States presenting her two-hour Colour Foundations Seminar. Other honorable mentions include numerous booth design awards from ARIDO and IIDEX as well as Art Director for the Benjamin Moore website. Her various television appearances include: Lynette Jennings "Home" and "Home Works", CBC's "What On Earth", CityTV's "City Line", and her own show "One House, Two Looks" on HGTV.
Jane has established a strong relationship with her audience promoting the use of design and colour for Canada's leading paint manufacturer, Benjamin Moore. During this time she collaborated in the production of the best selling project design book Paint a Great Impression. Jane's latest book Room Recipes: Cooking Up Style With Colour demonstrates how anyone can create a personal style from the materials of their lives - not just paint, but fabrics, textures, furnishings, light and prized belongings.
Jane has been involved with the Canadian Home Shows for the past 10 years, and broke into the American Home Shows three years ago. The list of shows span from Kelowna, B.C. to Yellowknife to Regina to Nova Scotia, and almost every Canadian city in between (specifically, she has appeared at the National Home Show in Toronto, Ontario, Vancouver Home Show in British Columbia and the Regina Home Show in Saskatchewan). Some American cities of note include St. Louis, Missouri, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
