Planter Boxes

Transform kennel fencing into a contemporary planter box to decorate your home.

First, roll out the kennel fencing. Make sure to wear safety gloves. Create the shape of a box using wire cutters. A hint is to measure off a 2' by 2' square, which will become the bottom of the box and then copy that measurement to create the sides around the box.

Next, lift up the fencing and fold it into the shape of a box. Buy small pieces of bendable aluminum wire and, using needle nose pliers, attach the wire to sides to hold the box into place.

Make sure the fasteners are tightened on the inside to prevent snags. Add a plastic tray to catch the water from the tree. Add the tree. Finally, fill the box with attractive river rock.

You now have created a stylish planter box!
