Kitchen Cabinets - Replacing Glass Doors

Changing the glass doors on an old cabinet is the perfect way to update your kitchen.

First, measure the existing piece of glass. Next, order the new glass and have it cut to size.

Using a very sharp utility knife, cut out the existing putty around the existing glass. Carefully place the new glass into position. Secure the glass using glass clips and push into place with a cat's claw.

Next, tape around the edges and add silicone caulking to further hold the glass into place. Smooth out the caulking with a putty knife. Wait until it dries and remove the tape.

Now you can step back and admire your striking new glass treatment!
