Bed Canopy

  1. Determine the amount of fabric you will need by measuring the width of your bed. When measuring the length, take into consideration that you will want the fabric to drape down over the bed and perhaps cover the back wall behind your bed.
    2. Add all this up to establish the proper length of fabric required.
  2. Next, go to your local hardware store and have two dowels pre-cut to match the width of the bed. Paint the dowels.
  3. Then, sew pockets in the fabric to slide the rods through.
  4. The whole unit can hang from the ceiling using eye screws and invisible fishing wire.
  5. Add finials to the end of the rods as a finishing touch.
