Chair Fabric Coverings

Spruce up your dining room by recovering your chairs with fabric:

1. Detach chair seats by removing the screws, which secure them to the chair frame.

2. Use the fabric of your choice to cover each seat, right over the old fabric and cushion. Make sure the new material is pulled tightly, and then use a staple gun to secure it to the solid seat back. Begin by putting a staple in the centre of each side and then stapling on either side of each of these centre staples until all four sides are completed. You may have to use a hammer to nail the staples firmly in place.

3. Reattach the cushion to the chair.

Now you have a fresh new look for your dining room table set!
