Clean up a messy kitchen bulletin board by first taking off all the bits and pieces of paper. Next, cover the board with fabric that co-ordinates with the room. Finally, get rid of the pieces of paper you don't need and only put back those that will be of use before you sell your house. Not only will you be cleaning up a space of clutter, but you'll also add a punch of colour to the room.
Change the look of a light fixture by simply spray painting the shade in a colour that contrasts the wall colour behind the fixture.
