Of course, we can't talk about SJP without talking about CB. While Carrie wasn't our fave of the Fab Four (we're more of a Miranda fan), there's no denying Sarah was born to play the fashionable and obnoxiously romantic Carrie.
Around Halloween this movie plays on loop on almost every channel it seems. Sarah lights up the screen as the young and sassy witch of Salem, Massachusetts.
When SJP was a wee little one in '85, she starred in a chick flick alongside Helen Hunt and Shannen Doherty. Sarah played a goody two-shoes gynmast who eventually breaks free from her strict parents and enters in a TV dance competition. Sarah's nothing but adorable and engaging in this oldie but goodie.
Matthew McConaughey once appeared in an episode of SATC and he teams up with SJP again in this goofy 2006 rom-com about a man who refuses to move out of his parents' house. Sarah plays Paula, a tough-as-nails interventionalist who eventually falls in love with the man-child. It's so fun to watch these two in anything together!
In a post-SATC world, SJP's comeback to television stars with playing suburban wife Frances in the middle of a heavy divorce. For many, many reasons, Frances is nothing like Carrie Bradshaw and that's why we love seeing SJP in a whole new light. Frances is more complicated and more dark than the charming New York sex columnist.
Having played Carrie Bradshaw for 6 seasons and 2 movies, Sarah Jessica Parker is pretty much our BFF—only she doesn't know it yet! The actress, producer and now shoe designer (more on that later!) is celebrating her birthday on March 25 and we think it's the perfect time to take a look back at her best roles on TV and film.
