Some of these celebrity mamas have had a rough year while others have reached new heights in their careers, but either way these celebs are super moms that we love and always want to see more of.

Shannon Tweed

Between raising two great kids (Sophie, 21, and Nick, 25), appearing in over 60 films and being married to a rock star, this powerhouse is a busy woman! Her new show on W Network, Shannon & Sophie, features her and her daughter tackling the world -- as best friends and polar opposites.

Why we love her: Not only is she a successful Canadian woman, she's hilarious and caring as well. The reality star always seems to have her hands full, but will throw it all to the side for her family. Check out Shannon & Sophie on the W Network May 20, at 10 p.m.

In January 2012, Beyoncé gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter. Since then the new mom has managed to go on a post-baby date night and returned to the pop world with a sultry new album she secretly released in 2013. She also revealed a 65 pound weight loss saying she wanted to "show that you can have a child and you can work hard and you can get your body back."

Why we love her: If you could turn feminism into a person, it would be Beyoncé. She is constantly promoting women, self-love, self-respect and gender equality. As someone so prominent in pop culture, she somehow manages to keep her baby and her relationship on the down-low. We don't know how you do it, but we love you, Bey!

Katie Holmes

One celebrity mama we are incredibly proud of is Katie Holmes. She's been on a rollercoaster ride as a mom-of-one and is about to take the movie-world by storm once again with her new flick, The Giver. Acting alongside Oscar-winner Meryl Streep, the movie comes out in August 2014.

Why we love her: Despite the craziness she's endured since divorcing Tom Cruise, Katie has always shown tremendous poise. Unlike the usually divorced celebs who will duck and hide, we're always seeing Katie out and about with Suri. Her strength, elegance and high-achieving ways prove Katie is definitely a super-mom!

Sandra Bullock

After the painful split from motorcycle builder Jesse James who was caught cheating on Bullock, everyone was feeling pretty sorry for her. But amidst a messy divorce, Sandra adopted her beautiful son, Louis Bardo, now four.

Why we love her: This single mom is outspoken about her devotion to her family and is often seen out and about town with her gorgeous little man.

Hilary Duff

Unlike some of the other mamas in this gallery, Hilary Duff had an incredibly civil separation. The ex-Disney star split from husband Mike Comrie in early 2014 and it's said to have been completely mutual.

Why we love her: Hilary's been one of our faves for a while, as a super-mom from the get-go, she's always shared her most precious moments with her son Luca on social media. We love seeing a young mother so happy!

Denise Richards

Denise Richards has been through hell and back since Charlie Sheen went off the deep end a few years ago. (Sheen tried to evict her from their $7million house earlier this year, but Richards has kept it all together, focusing on her three daughters.)

Why we love her: Despite everything she's been through, she keeps a smile on her face and stays strong for her kids. She's one single mom who continues to be the bigger person in the parenting relationship -- even after some of Charlie's most aggressive outbursts.

Jennifer Garner

She's the celeb mama everyone can relate to! Jennifer is a proud mother of three -- Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and Samuel, 2 -- and, somehow, she still finds time to take on some movie roles.

Why we love her: She is always spotted around town spending time with her girls -- be it a carriage ride or a walk to school.

Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie was always known as Paris Hilton's sid- kick. Now, married to punk rocker Joel Madden, she's made a new name for herself. A fashion icon and Instagram-lover, Nicole Richie has changed for the better. And her kids have helped. In an interview with Marie Claire the socialite says, "Motherhood makes you way more conscious of how you distribute your spare time," and she definitely spends it well!

Why we love her: Nicole was born into her fame, which required her to grow into her own self instead of letting the media mold her. From being a snotty reality TV star to a very cool and loving mom with purple hair, we've grown to love her through her transformation.

Jessica Alba

In 2012 Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan created "The Honest Company," which creates eco-friendly, affordable products for new mothers. Between her family, company and acting, Alba has her hands full -- but you'd never know it with that relaxed beautiful smile on her face!

Why we love her: She's lovely and caring toward everything in her life. Whether it be her family, friends or new company. "It's the most satisfying job in the world. But, it can also be overwhelming and confusing. I created the Honest Company to help moms and to give all children a better, safer start."
