We loved her in Four Weddings and a Funeral and Groundhog Day. We lusted after her perfect brunette ringlets, her southern-twang and her supermodel good looks. But Andie MacDowell's latest role as Olivia Lockhart in the W Network series Cedar Cove has us seeing this southern-belle in a different light. Olivia Lockhart is a small-town judge who must deal with the drama that exists, both inside the courtroom and in her personal life, a woman who's come a long way and still on an inspiring journey. So in celebration of Cedar Cove here are 10 things you didn't know about Andie MacDowell.

1. Supermodel
Yes, she's beautiful, but did you know that she was a supermodel before she became a movie starlet? She appeared in campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent and had a Calvin Klein billboard in Times Square.

2. "Andie MacDowell"?
Try Rosie MacDowell! Andie MacDowell’s real name is actually Rosalie Anderson MacDowell. Close friends and family call her Rose or Rosie, so it may be too soon for you to call her by that name. Give it time.

3. Break-out role
MacDowell’s break-out role was playing the lead in the 1984 film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. However, it wasn’t her voice in the film. Executives made this infamous decision because they thought there was too much twang in MacDowell’s voice. Glen Close dubbed her voice instead.

4. Fries with that?
Before being signed to Elite Model Management, Andie worked in the fast food industry to help out her family financially. The chains she worked at? McDonalds and Pizza Hut. Wonder if she still remembers how to serve up a Fish-O-Fillet!

5. Fashion sense
MacDowell says her style is a reflection of her personality: "I come from a small town and I grew up very simply so I think there’s a piece of me that will always be that," she says. Keep doing you, we say.

6. She’s a giver
Andie MacDowell contributes to a number of notable causes, especially though that touch on the lives of women. The Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research, UNICEF and the ENOUGH project are some of the organizations she is part of.

7. Tomboy
In an interview with Town and Country magazine, MacDowell describes herself as a tomboy, "fearless in a lot of ways. That's why I'm successful,” she says.

8. Thanks, but no thanks
Jodie Foster won an Oscar for her role in The Accused, a role that MacDowell was offered but turned down.

9. Most beautiful person
MacDowell was included in People Magazine's Most Beautiful People List twice. Once in 1991 and the other in 2000.

10. Chocolate lover
You wouldn't think so, but our Andie splurges on chocolate. Dark chocolate satisfies her sweet cravings.
