Q: My 24 year old daughter has an apartment down stairs, in our home, with her 2 year old, she pays rent and it is nice and cozy. However, when we are gone upstairs she will borrow things of others without asking. We do have a door with a lock from her apartment to our space. Should I keep it locked to prevent her from assuming that our place is hers also?
