How can you find out if you have Fibrocystic Breast Disease?

It is important to consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis. Your doctor will first conduct a comprehensive breast examination. To identify whether a lump is benign (non-cancerous) or cancerous, a needle aspiration biopsy may be performed. This procedure involves using a needle to remove a small amount of fluid from the lump. It will then be sent to the laboratory for identification. It is estimated that 80-90% of all breast lumps are not cancerous.

Mammography (x-ray of the breast) or surgical biopsy may also be ordered to help investigate a cyst in the breast.

You should see your doctor if you develop a severe case of acne suddenly, for no apparent reason.
