We heard about a tiny bottle of face cream that promises to take the years off by eliminating wrinkles – almost like a mini-facelift. What woman could resist the temptation to try it? That’s why we’ve stepped in to see if LifTight actually works.

LifTight Facelift Cream says it’s an alternative to Botox - enriched, it claims, with collagen. Will it temporarily smooth out unwanted wrinkles? On-line you’ll pay $29.95 for a .5 fl. Oz bottle for this apparent miracle cream.

We found a few women who were more than willing to test the cream out if it lived up to its claim of reducing, if not getting rid of, some wrinkles altogether.

After we attempted to use the cream, we actually thought it made wrinkles show up that weren’t there before. Our other testers noticed some improvement, but the way it felt on the skin made it almost unbearable.

The tight mask-like feel comes from the clay and silicates used in the cream. So in actual fact the cream is tightening and drying your skin to give you the impression that wrinkles may be disappearing, when surprise, they’re not!

If you do decide to give it a try, just be sure to not smile while you’re applying it – otherwise you may be stuck with smile lines until it wears off.

Overall, we gave LifTight cream 1 bag out of 5.
