Enough of us out there, some men, but admittedly mostly women absolutely detest insects, or bugs as they’re more appropriately called. We don’t want them in our homes but when it comes to getting rid of them we don’t want to get too close. What to do??

One of the latest solutions on the market is The Bug Wand, As Seen On TV – but does it work? Our very own Shopping Bags, Anna and Kristina, who by the way, aren’t too crazy about bugs themselves, set out to see how this product works and if it makes getting rid of our creepy-crawly friends any easier.

Instead of whacking bugs, the bug wand allows you to vacuum them using a two-foot wand. The Bug Wand Vacuum creates a high-powered suction that captures unwanted pests, eliminating that unwanted splatter on walls and ceilings while keeping the little critters safe from harm.

The Shopping Bags tested The Bug Wand on a bathroom floor with dozens of crickets. It didn’t take long before they were safely contained in The Bug Wand tube ready to be released back where they belong – outside!

Anna and Kristina’s only comments were that because there was no reverse vacuum to blow the bugs back OUT of the tube, it was sometimes difficult to get them out of there. Otherwise, The Bug Wand worked and kept the bugs an arms length away.
