The Shopping Bags
If you don’t have a lot of space, but still seem to have the odd overnight house guest dropping in, you’ll need somewhere for them to sleep. The Aerobed seems like the perfect answer – a comfortable bed in a bag that inflates in a minute or less with the touch of a button. It sounded too good to be true so we had to give this baby a test sleep.

Our Tests
We started with the inflation test to see if it did in fact inflate in 60 seconds. Much to our delight, it did!
But we weren’t ready for bed yet; we took turns flopping on the bed to see just how sturdy it was - and it stood up to our abuse.
To see if it would actually hold air we put 130 pounds of weight on the mattress for a night – it definitely was not as firm in the morning and looked as though it lost considerable air.
The big test was how well we slept and we didn’t; it was uncomfortable and smelled like plastic – and for that price we just wouldn’t justify it for a few nights here and there; a cheaper air mattress would do the trick.
The Aerobed scored points for convenience and quick inflation, but overall we gave the AeroBed Premier Classic 2 ½ Shopping Bags out of 5.
