Designating Work & Play Periods

Does your child have trouble focusing on homework? Relationships Strategist Hina Khan of Save Us From Our House suggests rotating periods of work and play for kids.

Here's how:

1. Dedicate a certain amount of time each day for your child to concentrate on their homework

2. Split that time up into shorter periods through out the time after school and before bed

3. Alternate periods for homework with periods for playing/watching a television show/having a snack
