My boyfriend is a flirt, its one of the things that I liked about him when we met. But, now it annoys me that he flirts since were in a relationship. Can I tell him to stop flirting?

Most people in long-term relationships can cope with a bit of admiration, and may even benefit from knowing that others find them or their partners attractive, but couples differ in their tolerance of flirtatious behaviour, and it is important to be alert to signs of discomfort or distress.  Demanding that your partner stop flirting will just put you in a power struggle, but open communication is key. Share your feelings with your partner (without blame). Its okay to feel vulnerable in a relationship.
