Galley Kitchen

Q: Do you recommend this or should I stick with the standard height?
Full Question
My kitchen is a galley kitchen. I have a very small space for a kitchen table. The space for my kitchen table is between a wall dividing my kitchen and family room and my counter top. I am thinking of getting a new kitchen set that is counter height. Do you recommend this or should I stick with the standard height? I don't know how it will look being so close to my counter top. Thanks!

Answer
I think having a table the same height as the counter top is an excellent idea.  Given that you have a small kitchen, the table will also function as additional counter space when you are preparing meals.  I presume that the table will only be suitable for two people which will make it a bit like a pub table which will look brilliant.  I would recommend that you get a table set the same colour and tone as the rest of the kitchen, which will keep the kitchen looking spacious and perhaps not as tiny as you describe it good choice!
